I'm Belle; a wife, mother to 2 beautiful children and part time teacher living in Sheffield, UK.

I began sewing when I was 5, sat with my mum on her hand powered singer sewing machine making dolls clothes. At that point I just loved the 1:1 time with my mother, however my passion for sewing has continued through to my adult life.

​

I also have a desire to not negatively impact the world more than required and am a firm believer in just one change. One sustainable swap can make a huge impact. For me it is for my son, for his world to come.

And so, I combined my two passions; sewing and taking steps to preserve our beautiful world. I founded Kura by Belle in 2020 and continue to develop high quality sustainable products that are not only useful but make great gifts too.
